Watch: Kim Tae Ri, Nam Joo Hyuk, WJSN's Bona, And More Work Tirelessly To Get The Perfect Take For

tvN has shared a new making-of video for “Twenty Five, Twenty One”!

Set in 1998, “Twenty Five, Twenty One” tells the story of youth whose dreams were taken from them due to the IMF crisis. Kim Tae Ri stars as Na Hee Do, an aspiring fencer, and Nam Joo Hyuk stars as Baek Yi Jin, whose family was torn apart due to the financial crisis. The two characters first meet at 18 and 22 years old, and they fall in love years later at age 21 and 25.

The clip starts with Kim Tae Ri’s very first day of filming. Before they begin, the crew cheers excitedly for her and she calls out with a big smile, “Please lead me well! I love you in advance! Be healthy! Please lead me well in the future!”

After an exhausting exercise scene, Kim Tae Ri is joined by Choi Hyun Wook, Lee Joo Myung, and WJSN’s Bona for their first shoot. As Choi Hyun Wook and Lee Joo Myung start comparing heights, he comments, “I think [her shoes] are higher.” Everyone starts laughing, and Kim Tae Ri responds, “They’re the same!”

Before filming at night, Nam Joo Hyuk listens closely to the details of the scene. As the next scene involves Kim Tae Ri being exhausted from running around all night, she warms up by running laps. Nam Joo Hyuk practices different ways to catch Kim Tae Ri and decides that grabbing her hand would be best. However, once they start filming, he accidentally knocks her over instead of catching her. As she monitors the take, Kim Tae Ri hilariously comments, “This is basically an attack!”

A flustered Nam Joo Hyuk tries to explain himself, and Kim Tae Ri adds, “You have to catch me well. Catch me before my butt touches the ground.” They try once more, but Nam Joo Hyuk misses her hand, causing Kim Tae Ri to fall right onto the mat below her. She immediately gets up and cries out, “I’m so embarrassed!” Right after, the duo impressively perfect the take and monitor their work as Kim Tae Ri excitedly comments, “You caught me well!”

In the next scene, Bona and Choi Hyun Wook are happily running through the rain. When the pot Choi Hyun Wook is holding accidentally falls onto Bona, the two burst into laughter in real life and continue on with the scene. While monitoring, Bona comments with a laugh, “We look like fools.” The director responds, “I think laughing like fools like this is good.”

The end of the video features the impressive choreography scene with Kim Tae Ri and Choi Hyun Wook that earned cheers from the staff members, as well as the adorable banana milk scene between Kim Tae Ri and Nam Joo Hyuk.
