Watch: JYP's New Girl Group NMIXX Covers Stray Kids, ITZY, TWICE, Girls' Generation, Sunmi, And miss A On

JYP Entertainment’s new girl group NMIXX showed off their many talents on “Weekly Idol”!

In what marked their first-ever variety show appearance, the rookie girl group—who just made their debut earlier this week—guested on the February 23 episode of the MBC every1 variety show.

In addition to performing their debut track “O.O” for the first time on TV, NMIXX proved their versatility by covering snippets of various hit songs.

For the program’s “Weekly Playlist” segment, NMIXX performed a special JYP dance cover medley in which they took on the choreographies to Stray Kids’ “Thunderous,” miss A’s “Touch,” ITZY’s “Not Shy,” and TWICE’s “Cheer Up.”

At another point in the show, NMIXX members Jinni, Jiwoo, and Kyujin—dubbed the “Ji-Ji-Jin” trio—received a request from a fan to dance to Girls’ Generation’s iconic hit “Gee” (a pun on “Gee” and the “Ji” in their names). Sure enough, the Ji-Ji-Jin girls came through with a short but sweet dance cover of the song.

Lily and Haewon also showed off their vocals with an a cappella duet version of Naomi Scott’s “Speechless” (from the soundtrack of the 2019 film “Aladdin”).

Finally, in a clip that never made it to air, Sullyoon recreated her pre-debut cover of Sunmi’s “Full Moon.”
