MAMAMOO's Solar Tests Positive For COVID-19 + Reassures Fans With Sweet Message
MAMAMOO’s Solar has been diagnosed with COVID-19.
On February 24, her agency RBW released the following statement:
Hello, this is RBW.
We are informing you that our agency artist MAMAMOO’s Solar has tested positive for COVID-19.
After hearing that she was in close contact with a COVID-19 patient on February 23, she used a self-testing kit and tested positive. She immediately underwent PCR testing, and she was ultimately diagnosed [with COVID-19] today (February 24).
Solar completed the third dose of his COVID-19 vaccine, and she has currently halted all activities and is taking the necessary measures as well as getting rest in keeping with guidelines set by government health authorities.
We apologize for causing concern to the fans. We will do our best for Solar’s quick recovery and consider the health and safety of the artist as a top priority.

Shortly afterwards, Solar took to Instagram Stories to reassure her fans. Against a starry background, she wrote, “Thank you for worrying about me. I’ll take this [as a sign] to promote in a healthier way before my solo album comes out. I’ll take good care of myself and come back.”
On February 22, Solar announced that she was going to release her first solo mini album, “容 : FACE,” sometime in March.
