3 Reasons To Tune In To The Final Episode Of "My Teen Girl"

MBC’s “My Teen Girl” airs its final episode tonight!

“My Teen Girl” is an audition show where the final top 7 contestants will debut in a new girl group. Yoon Kyun Sang is the MC, and the students are divided into Grades 1-4 by age, with each class having its own homeroom teacher: either Girls’ Generation’s Yuri, Aiki, (G)I-DLE’s Jeon Soyeon, or Ock Joo Hyun.

Out of the original 83 contestants, only the following 14 remain: Kim Yooyeon, Myung Hyungseo, Minami, Park Boeun, Yoon Chaewon, Choi Yoonjung, Hong Hyeju, Kim Riwon, Kim Seonyou, Kim Yunseo, Kim Hyunhee, Won Jimin, Lee Mihee, and Lee Youngchae.

With only one episode left, viewers are waiting with baited breath to find out who will make it into the final lineup. Here are three reasons to tune in to tonight’s finale!

1. The final performances

Ahead of the show’s finale, the contestants went on MBC’s “Music Core” to perform “Lions + Sonic Boom” to give viewers a taste of what the final episode will bring. Just like what was teased in a spoiler video released a few days prior, the two teams of seven members are each preparing performances that will show off their own unique style.

2. The voting results

As the results of the online votes have caused quite dramatic shifts in the ranking throughout the show, viewers are more prepared than ever for the final round of voting. With fans putting in their best effort to support their members of choice, the outcome of the final ranking remains unpredictable.

3. The final group’s name and central member

Aside from the debut group’s member lineup, viewers are also extremely curious about the name of the group and who will become the group’s “center.” Previously, the show opened up submissions for group name ideas to the general public. The finalized group name will be revealed during tonight’s episode. Furthermore, viewers will have to tune in to find out who will take the coveted center position!
