Son Ye Jin, Jeon Mi Do, Kim Ji Hyun, And More Display Wide Range Of Emotions While Filming "Thirty-Nine"

JTBC has released new behind-the-scenes photos from “Thirty-Nine”!

“Thirty-Nine” stars Son Ye Jin, Jeon Mi Do, and Kim Ji Hyun as three friends who met in their second year of high school and are now on the verge of turning 40.

Son Ye Jin plays Cha Mi Jo, the head dermatologist of a clinic in Gangnam. Jeon Mi Do takes the role of Jung Chan Young, an acting teacher who previously dreamed of becoming an actress, and Kim Ji Hyun stars as Jang Joo Hee, a department store cosmetics manager.

The pictures include Son Ye Jin, Jeon Mi Do, Kim Ji Hyun, Yeon Woo Jin, Lee Moo Saeng, and Lee Tae Hwan each preparing to act in upcoming scenes. The first still shows Son Ye Jin looking serious as she stares at something to the side of her. The next photo shows Jeon Mi Do and Son Ye Jin deep in conversation as Son Ye Jin gazes at her. Another still shows the two women laughing happily together, and the sincere friendship of their characters can be felt as they support each other through the ups and downs.

Another still shows Jeon Mi Do sitting in a dimly lit kitchen behind a table, mentally preparing for shooting to begin. Kim Ji Hyun’s bright smile displays her positive energy as Jang Joo Hee. The three actresses are also spotted siting closely together on a couch and watching something on a phone.

Additionally, the three actors who play the women’s love interests show their earnest and passion for filming. Yeon Woo Jin stands next to crew members as he gets ready for the next scene. Lee Moo Saeng sits at a dining table at a restaurant as he flashes the camera a huge grin, while Lee Tae Hwan holds the script for the show in one hand and a bouquet of flowers in the other.
