Update: TXT's Huening Kai And Soobin Diagnosed With COVID-19

Three days after his bandmate Soobin’s diagnosis, TXT’s Huening Kai has now also tested positive for COVID-19.

On March 15, Big Hit Music released the following statement in English:

Hello.
This is BIGHIT MUSIC.

We would like to provide you with some information regarding the health of TOMORROW X TOGETHER member Huening Kai.

Huening Kai presented symptoms of a cold and took the PCR test on Monday 14th, and was diagnosed with COVID-19 on Tuesday the 15th.

Huening Kai is currently not presenting any extraordinary symptoms other than a sore throat, and is undergoing treatment at home while under quarantine.

All members have been isolated since taking rapid antigen tests on Thursday the 10th. Yeonjun, Beomgyu, and Taehyun will closely monitor their health while taking special care of their personal hygiene.

The company places the artists’ health as our top priority, and we will do everything we can to aid Huening Kai in his speedy recovery. We will also diligently cooperate with the requests and guidelines of the health care authorities.

TXT’s Soobin has tested positive for COVID-19.

On March 12, Big Hit Music officially announced that Soobin had been diagnosed with COVID-19 after developing cold-like symptoms such as a cough and sore throat.

Although the other members of TXT all tested negative for the virus, the agency has stated that they will be carefully monitoring their health due to their close contact with Soobin.

We would like to provide you with some information regarding the health of TOMORROW X TOGETHER member Soobin.

Soobin had cold symptoms and tested positive on a rapid antigen test he took on Thursday, March 10. He promptly took a PCR test on Friday, March 11 and was confirmed with COVID-19 on the morning of Saturday, March 12.

Soobin is experiencing symptoms including a cough and a sore throat. He has been under self-quarantine, away from the other members, since the rapid antigen test and is undergoing treatment at home.

Other than Soobin, Beomgyu, Taehyun, and Huening Kai tested negative on a PCR test they took as a proactive measure on Friday, March 11. Regardless of the test results, Beomgyu, Taehyun, and Huening Kai, as well as Yeonjun who has made a full recovery from COVID-19, will all thoroughly comply with personal hygiene and health guidelines and closely monitor their own health since there was contact among the members.

We will continue to provide support for the rapid recovery of Soobin, placing our highest priority on the health and safety of our artists. We will also continue to fully cooperate with the requests and guidelines of healthcare authorities.
