Watch: Ahn Bo Hyun And Jo Bo Ah Prepare A Birthday Surprise For The Director On "Military Prosecutor Doberman" Set

tvN shared a behind-the-scenes video of episodes 3 and 4 of “Military Prosecutor Doberman”!

“Military Prosecutor Doberman” is a drama about military prosecutors starring Ahn Bo Hyun as Do Bae Man, an apathetic prosecutor who only took the job for money, and Jo Bo Ah as Cha Woo In, a chaebol heiress who took the job of military prosecutor for revenge.

The behind-the-scenes video begins with Ahn Bo Hyun and Jo Bo Ah preparing a birthday cake surprise for the director on set. After lighting the candles, Jo Bo Ah carries the cake and Ahn Bo Hyun stands in front of her to block the wind. He insists that the director make a wish before blowing them out and the director wishes that the viewership ratings will surpass 20 percent, making the cast and crew laugh and applaud.

The video introduces Jo Hye Won, who plays Yang Jong Sook, an aide to Oh Yun Soo’s character, division commander Noh Hwa Young. She expresses her nervousness about taking on a military role for the first time. In another scene, Kim Woo Seok acts cute in front of the camera before quickly getting embarrassed and running off. In Ahn Bo Hyun’s scene, the director gets distracted by how tall Ahn Bo Hyun is, which makes it difficult for the camera to capture the right frame, and the actor quips, “I’m still growing.”

Ahn Bo Hyun and Jo Bo Ah are rehearsing a scene together when the director recommends to Ahn Bo Hyun, “You can sound even more annoying than that.” Ahn Bo Hyun asks Jo Bo Ah, “Am I annoying you?” and she responds without hesitation, “Yes.” In another scene, he strides out of the room confidently but gets his robes caught on the door. In the nightclub scene, Ahn Bo Hyun looks at the flashy surroundings and asks the director, “There’s no need to act surprised, right?” and the director quips, “No, [your character] has probably come here often.” Kang Mal Geum appears here as Do Soo Kyung, a police detective and Do Bae Man’s aunt.

The video also shows the work and detail that goes into the incredible and impressive stunts and action scenes. Ahn Bo Hyun does his own stunts in the scene where the car flips up and comes up with idea after idea. Elsewhere, Ahn Bo Hyun and Kim Woo Seok fall in love with the actual Doberman on set, Bolt. At the end, the cast and crew film the flashback scene in which Do Bae Man’s parents are killed in a car accident. The actors joke about the fake blood that’s been applied on them and Do Bae Man’s father tells the younger Do Bae Man with mock sternness, “You have to become a military prosecutor. If you don’t, the story will get messed up.”
