Watch: Song Kang And Park Min Young Give Off Real Couple Vibes In Ramen Date Scene In "Forecasting Love And Weather"

JTBC shared a behind-the-scenes video of Song Kang and Park Min Young’s ramen date in episode 9-10!

The preview starts with the two actors sitting at the bar, receiving their bowls of ramen. Park Min Young tells Song Kang, “You know you have to eat the egg first, right?” and Song Kang says, “I actually just smush it,” making Park Min Young react in horror.

As filming starts, Park Min Young suggests they start with the broth, and he agrees. Although the cameras are on, the two actors showcase their natural chemistry as they share sweet smiles and loving looks with each other as they eat the ramen. Once the two eat the eggs, the director says “cut” and the two actors dive into the ramen in earnest. Song Kang says, “It’s so good,” and Park Min Young says to the director, “I even held back on late-night snacks because of this.”

The camera flashes to a shot of Oh Dae Hwan, making a cameo as the ramen chef. Director Cha Young Hoon muses, “It’s fun even watching [you two] just eat good food together,” and Park Min Young agrees, saying, “It has a vibe. It’s because we’re really passionate about eating.” Song Kang proves this point by not even listening to the conversation because he’s so absorbed in the ramen.

After some more ramen takes, they start filming the cake scene. Park Min Young has a funny reaction when she sees how over-the-top the cake is. The cake is actually meant for a different couple, but Park Min Young gets shy and embarrassed herself at watching the couple.

Once the eating scenes are over, Song Kang and Park Min Young get fully absorbed into their serious romantic conversation and kiss. Dressed in winter coats, the two actors carefully rehearse every detail of the scene, from line intonation to the angle of their body movements. In the middle of this, Yoon Bak comes in from the cold and sits down behind the camera to watch, playfully putting pressure on the other actors.
