TXT Becomes 1st K-Pop Male Artist Ever To Enter Billboard's Song Breaker Chart

TXT has just made Billboard history!

On March 23 KST, Billboard officially announced that TXT had debuted on its latest Song Breaker chart at No. 18, making them the first Korean male artist ever to enter the chart.

Billboard’s Song Breaker chart, which was launched last year, provides an industry-standard ranking of creators in the digital space who are driving music consumption through content creation. Created together with Logitech, the chart factors in popularity across social platforms like TikTok and Instagram.

Not only is TXT the first male K-pop artist to enter the chart, but they are also only the second K-pop artist overall. (TWICE, who debuted on the chart last December at No. 4, was the first.)

After Taehyun and Yeonjun collaborated with Salem Ilese and Alan Walker on the new single “PS5,” Yeonjun recently came up with a dance challenge for the song that has been gaining popularity on TikTok. With over 16 million followers on TikTok, TXT is currently the male K-pop group with the second-highest number of followers on the platform, bested only by BTS.
