Watch: Yoo Yeon Seok And Ye Ji Won Are Surprised By The Cast’s Generational Fight On “Amazing Saturday”
Yoo Yeon Seok and Ye Ji Won will appear on the show to promote their new movie, “Vanishing,” a French film about a forensic expert who comes to Seoul and teams up with a police detective on a murder case.
Ye Ji Won impresses the cast right away with her French and her elegant way of speaking. In particular, she captivates Nucksal, who exclaims, “This is the kind of show I want to do! This is a real show!” She continues to deliver cheesy lines in her elegant tone to mixed reactions from the cast.
Yoo Yeon Seok, on the other hand, proves that he’s a contender for the crown of “stubborn king,” which refers to people on the show who are convinced that they’re right and won’t listen to anyone else. Park Na Rae, Kim Dong Hyun, SHINee’s Key, and Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon all express their frustrations but he ignores them and plows on.
Park Na Rae and Key then get into a fight about their respective generations, with Park Na Rae representing Generation X and Key representing the MZ generation (a Korean term for the combination of millennials and Gen Z). Flustered, Yoo Yeon Seok asks, “Do you normally fight like this?” Ye Ji Won suggests that they switch seats as the cast continues to fan the flames.
