NCT DREAM Soars Past 1 Million Sales + Breaks Own Record In Just 3 Days With "Glitch Mode"
NCT DREAM is smashing their own sales records with their latest album!
On March 28 at 6 p.m. KST, NCT DREAM made their highly-anticipated return with their second studio album “Glitch Mode” and its catchy title track of the same name.
According to Hanteo Chart, by 11:08 a.m. KST on March 31, “Glitch Mode” had already surpassed 1 million album sales—meaning that it took the album just two days, 17 hours, and eight minutes to sell over 1 million copies. In comparison, it took NCT DREAM’s previous studio album “Hot Sauce” over six days to reach 1 million sales.
At present, NCT DREAM is one of only three artists in Hanteo history who have managed to surpass 1 million sales in the first week of an album’s release. (The other two are BTS and SEVENTEEN.)
Additionally, just a few hours later on March 31, “Glitch Mode” went on to break NCT DREAM’s previous first-week sales record of 1,010,766 set by “Hot Sauce” last year. By the end of April 1 KST, “Glitch Mode” had already sold a total of 1,286,894 copies—and with several days left to go until the end of the week, their first-week sales record is certain to climb even higher.
Congratulations to NCT DREAM!
