IU Turns Down Offer For New Drama By "My Love From The Star" And "Crash Landing On You" Writer

IU’s agency has responded to a report about a potential upcoming drama.

On April 6, Ilyo News reported that IU is likely to star in a new drama written by Park Ji Eun.

In response to the report, IU’s agency EDAM Entertainment clarified, “It is true that [IU] was offered a role in writer Park Ji Eun’s new drama, but she respectfully turned down the offer.”

Park Ji Eun previously created dramas including “My Love From the Star,” “The Producers,” “The Legend of the Blue Sea,” “Crash Landing on You,” and more. Her new drama will reportedly be about a chaebol family.
