NMIXX's Haewon And Jiwoo Diagnosed With COVID-19

Two days after NMIXX’s Jiwoo was diagnosed with COVID-19, Haewon has also tested positive for the virus.

On April 8, JYP Entertainment announced that Haewon had been diagnosed with COVID-19 after developing a mild fever and sore throat.

The agency’s full statement is as follows:

Hello, this is JYP Entertainment.

We are informing you that on the morning of Friday, April 8, NMIXX member Haewon was diagnosed with COVID-19.

On the morning of April 8, Haewon had a mild sore throat, so she used a self-test kit and showed a positive result. Therefore, on the morning of April 8, she went to the hospital and underwent a rapid antigen test, and Haewon was ultimately diagnosed with COVID-19.

Haewon previously received two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, and she currently does not have any particular symptoms aside from a mild fever and sore throat. In accordance with the guidelines of health authorities, she is currently undergoing treatment in self-isolation.

Our agency considers the health of our artists our top priority, and we will do our utmost so that [Haewon] can focus entirely on her treatment and recovery. We will make another announcement regarding our artist’s scheduled activities through the event organizers in the future.

On the morning of April 6, Jiwoo had a mild sore throat, so she used a self-test kit and showed a positive result. Therefore, on the afternoon of April 6, she went to the hospital and underwent a rapid antigen test, and Jiwoo was ultimately diagnosed with COVID-19.

Jiwoo previously received two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, and she currently does not have any particular symptoms aside from a mild fever and sore throat. In accordance with the guidelines of health authorities, she is currently undergoing treatment in self-isolation.
