Jin Ki Joo Showcases Versatile Charms As A Police Officer With Supernatural Powers In "From Now On, Showtime!"

MBC’s upcoming weekend drama “From Now On, Showtime!” has shared a glimpse of Jin Ki Joo in character!

“From Now On, Showtime!” is a comedy mystery drama about a famous and charismatic magician named Cha Cha Woong (Park Hae Jin), who can summon ghosts, and a passionate police constable named Go Seul Hae (Jin Ki Joo), who has supernatural powers.

Go Seul Hae is a brave police officer who rushes fiercely towards her goal. She has a warm heart and takes good care of the people around her, but she also has a mysterious secret that causes her to spill tears from time to time.

The new stills depict different sides of Go Seul Hae that makes viewers wonder if she’s really one person. In one photo, she exudes the charisma and seriousness of a police officer, but another still captures her brilliant smile. The next photo piques curiosity with her glamorous look. Go Seul Hwa might seem odd because of her excessive sense of justice, but she’s cold and persistent when it comes to catching criminals. She also turns on her lovely charms whenever she’s in front of Cha Cha Woong.

The production team praised Jin Ki Joo, saying, “Jin Ki Joo is an actress who always laughs and takes the initiative and sets an example, so we call her ‘Kind Seul Hae’ on the set. Although she has the busiest schedule due to her action scenes, romance and comedy moments, cooperative investigation with the ghosts, and work at the police station and precinct station, she never fails to work hard, so all the staff members are grateful to her.”

“From Now On, Showtime!” will premiere on April 23 at 8:40 p.m. KST. It will also be available on Viki with English subtitles.
