Lee Joon Portrays The Life Of A Sad And Spiteful King In Upcoming Drama "Bloody Heart"

KBS 2TV’s “Bloody Heart” has shared another look at Lee Joon in character!

“Bloody Heart” is a fictional historical drama about the bloody political romance between Lee Tae (Lee Joon), a king who has to abandon the woman he loves to survive, and Yoo Jung (Kang Han Na), a woman who has to become the queen to survive.

Lee Tae dreams of an absolute monarchy for his own survival. He believes that any means taken for this goal is justifiable and if necessary, he will not hesitate to take an illegal or dishonest route. However, he is forced to choose between the monarchy and love once he falls into a heated political battle against Yoo Jung, his former lover from his younger days.

The newly released stills capture Lee Tae’s dignity. His charismatic gaze overwhelms the atmosphere, yet his eyes are dim with emptiness, hinting his sad and lonely life. His expression is also filled with spite, adding tension to the already-intense plot.

The drama’s producers shared, “Lee Joon is perfectly portraying the difficult emotional acting of Lee Tae, who hides his true feelings in order to fulfill his dreams of absolute monarchy. Will Lee Tae choose power or love? Please look forward to Lee Joon’s explosive acting as he shows his unity with his character.”
