BLACKPINK Reportedly Making Comeback As Early As June

The wait may finally be over!

On April 26, Korean news outlet Sports Dong-A reported that according to an industry insider, BLACKPINK was preparing to return with a new album “as early as June.”

Although it appears that their comeback date has not yet been set in stone, all signs point to a release happening in the near future: during a guest appearance on “The Game Caterers 2” last month, Jennie teased, “BLACKPINK is preparing to make a comeback soon. I don’t know if I’m allowed to say this, but since I’m here on my own today, I’ll say what I want. Please cheer us on a lot.”

If BLACKPINK does wind up releasing their new album in June, it will mark their first comeback in over a year and a half. The group’s last comeback was in October 2020, when they dropped their first full-length album “THE ALBUM” and its title track “Lovesick Girls.”
