GOT7's Jinyoung Makes Kim Go Eun's Heart Skip A Beat In Romantic

tvN’s hit drama “Yumi’s Cells” has released an exciting new teaser poster for Season 2!

Based on the popular webtoon of the same name, “Yumi’s Cells” tells the story of an ordinary office worker named Yumi—from the point of view of the many brain cells in her head controlling her every thought, feeling, and action. Kim Go Eun plays the titular role of Yumi, an ordinary woman who struggles with expressing her feelings. The first season of “Yumi’s Cells,” which became the first K-drama ever to combine live action and 3D animation, aired in autumn 2021 and received a lot of love from viewers.

In the newly released poster for the upcoming second season of the drama, Yumi shyly gazes up at her handsome co-worker Yoo Babi (played by GOT7’s Jinyoung) as he tenderly caresses her hair. Although Yumi’s adorable animated cells can’t be seen in the poster, the caption hints at how Babi is making them feel by teasing, “The cells are beginning to react again.”

The change in Yumi’s hairstyle (her signature bob cut is noticeably missing) also hints at how much time has passed since the end of Season 1—and the romantic atmosphere between former friends Yumi and Yoo Babi suggests that quite a bit may have changed during that time!

The producers of “Yumi’s Cells 2” teased, “Yumi, who will change and grow through new work and love, will begin her story again. Please look forward to Yumi’s second chapter, which will make you laugh, cry, and feel your heart flutter along with her cells.”

“Yumi’s Cells 2” will premiere in June.
