Just one day after SF9’s Jaeyoon was diagnosed with COVID-19, Chani has also tested positive for the virus.

On May 6, FNC Entertainment officially announced that Jaeyoon had been diagnosed with COVID-19 after developing a sore throat and other cold-like symptoms. As a result, the idol has cancelled all of his scheduled activities, including his musical performances (Jaeyoon has been starring in the musical version of the hit drama “Another Oh Hae Young” since March).

The agency’s full statement is as follows:

While his result came back negative, he underwent another rapid antigen test and a PCR test for COVID-19 this morning just in case, and both test results came back positive.

At the moment, Jaeyoon only has symptoms of a cold and sore throat, and he plans to get plenty of rest for the time being as he undergoes treatment in accordance with the guidelines of government health authorities.
