CIX's BX To Remain Behind In U.S. Due To Being Diagnosed With COVID-19 After Wrapping Up Tour

CIX’s BX has been diagnosed with COVID-19 while in the United States for the group’s first stateside tour.

On May 11 local time, C9 Entertainment officially announced that after successfully wrapping up their U.S. tour in New York the night before, all of the CIX members underwent PCR testing for their return to Korea.

While the other four members’ test results came back negative, BX tested positive, and he will therefore be remaining in the United States in self-isolation while the other members fly back to Korea. He is currently asymptomatic, and one manager and one global business team employee will stay behind in the United States with him.

C9 Entertainment’s full English statement is as follows:

Hello, this is C9 Entertainment.

After CIX member BX finished his U.S. tour schedule, he received a PCR test for his return home and was confirmed positive today.

BX has completed the third vaccination, and Seunghun, Yonghee, Bae Jinyoung, and Hyunsuk all tested negative as a result of PCR.

Currently, BX is asymptomatic and is staying in a separate accommodation. To check the artist’s health, one manager in charge and one global business team employee are also staying in the foreign country together.

We will do our best to ensure that the artist recovers quickly and returns safely.

Wishing BX a speedy recovery!
