Son Suk Ku, Kim Ji Won, And Lee Min Ki Find Calm Amidst The Unexpected Troubles Of Life In “My Liberation Notes”

JTBC’s “My Liberation Notes” shared new stills previewing the upcoming episode!

“My Liberation Notes” is a drama about three siblings who want to escape their stifling lives and the events that unfold when a mysterious outsider comes to their town. Kim Ji Won, Lee Min Ki, and Lee El star as the three frustrated siblings, while Son Suk Ku plays the alcoholic outsider that unexpectedly changes their lives.

Previously, Mr. Gu confessed his past and grew distant from Yeom Mi Jung (Kim Ji Won). However, Yeom Mi Jung reached out to save Mr. Gu who had shut himself away in a dark place out of fear, and the two started to “revere” each other once again. Near the end of the episode, Mr. Gu surprised with a different side to him as Gu Ja Kyung.

The newly released stills capture heartwarming moments between Yeom Mi Jung and Mr. Gu. As they face the gentle breeze together, the two look towards the same direction. In the healing moment, they rest their hearts while quietly enjoying the view. Yeom Mi Jung and Mr. Gu also appear affectionate as they walk back home after working in the fields together.

However, mysterious men arrive to threaten their peace, raising questions about their identities. Mr. Gu can’t hide his anger as he grabs on to one man by his collar, while another man dressed in black appears bringing more questions with him. The two men will once again change the futures of Mr. Gu and Yeom Mi Jung.

Furthermore, Yeom Chang Hee (Lee Min Ki) appears to have gained the foreign car of his dreams, and he seems to be calmly reflecting on his life. Another still shows him covering his head with his hands in apparent distress as his friend Oh Doo Hwan (Han Sang Jo) watches him with concern.

The upcoming episodes will depict Mr. Gu and Yeom Mi Jung’s relationship growing deeper, but tensions will rise with the arrival of the mysterious men. The next episode of “My Liberation Notes” airs on May 14 at 10:30 p.m. KST.
