Im Soo Hyang And Shin Dong Wook Make Efforts To Grow Closer After Hardships In "Woori The Virgin"

SBS’s “Woori the Virgin” shared a new preview of Im Soo Hyang and Shin Dong Wook!

A remake of the hit American show “Jane the Virgin” (which was itself based on a Venezuelan telenovela), “Woori the Virgin” tells the story of a woman named Oh Woo Ri who has been strictly maintaining her chastity before marriage but winds up pregnant after an accidental artificial insemination during a medical exam.

Im Soo Hyang stars as the titular Oh Woo Ri, while Shin Dong Wook plays Oh Woo Ri’s loyal boyfriend Lee Kang Jae.

Previously, Lee Kang Jae proposed to Oh Woo Ri, but he was shocked to find out that Oh Woo Ri had accidentally become pregnant with Raphael’s (Sung Hoon‘s) child. After much thought, Oh Woo Ri decided to give birth to the baby, and Lee Kang Jae remained faithfully by her side and showed respect for her choice.

The newly released stills preview Oh Woo Ri and Lee Kang Jae enjoying a sweet date at the park while eating from a lunchbox. Oh Woo Ri boldly puts a hand on Lee Kang Jae’s thigh, and the two gaze sweetly at each other, continuing to remain affectionate for one another.

Lee Kang Jae and Oh Woo Ri also plan to go on an overnight date. In the stills, the couple looks flushed while standing at the hotel lobby, raising questions about what will happen on their date and whether their upcoming hotel date will end successfully.

The production team shared, “In episode 4, like the phrase, ‘The ground gets sturdier after it rains,’ Oh Woo Ri and Lee Kang Jae become closer after overcoming unexpected hardship, and they portray their nature as a steadfast couple while showing lovey-dovey chemistry. In particular, the contrasting sides of Oh Woo Ri’s bold display of affection and Lee Kang Jae being at a loss as to what to do in response will make viewers laugh, so please check it out through the broadcast.”

The next episode of “Woori the Virgin” airs on May 17 at 10 p.m. KST.
