"The Outlaws 2" ("The Roundup") Surpasses 1 Million Moviegoers In Just 2 Days After Setting Record For Biggest Opening Since COVID-19
Ma Dong Seok and Son Suk Ku’s new movie “The Outlaws 2” (also known as “The Roundup”) is off to an impressive start at the Korean box office!
On the morning of May 20, the Korean Film Council announced that the day before, “The Outlaws 2” had officially surpassed 1 million moviegoers while remaining No. 1 at the box office. At the time of their announcement, the film had reached a total of 1,016,693 moviegoers.
The highly-anticipated sequel to Ma Dong Seok and Yoon Kye Sang‘s hit 2017 action film “The Outlaws,” “The Outlaws 2” follows the exciting adventures of legendary detective Ma Seok Do and his police station’s violent crimes squad as they fight to eradicate crime.
“The Outlaws 2” also previously set a new record for the biggest box office opening in South Korea since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic.
