Mnet’s “M Countdown” is reopening its studio to live audiences!

On May 20, a representative of the weekly music show announced, “Starting from May 26, we will be reinstating studio audiences.”

Back in March 2020, “M Countdown” shut its doors to studio audiences due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and it has been filming without a live audience for the past two years and two months. However, after South Korea lifted almost all of its COVID-19 restrictions in April, music shows like KBS 2TV’s “Music Bank,” MBC’s “Music Core,” and SBS’s “Inkigayo” have all begun reopening their doors to live studio audiences this month.

The first episode of “M Countdown” to feature a studio audience in over two years will air on May 26 at 6 p.m. KST.
