Park Gyu Young, CNBLUE’s Kang Min Hyuk, And More Confirmed For New Drama
Produced by director Kim Chul Gyu of “Flower of Evil,” “Celebrity” depicts the glamorous yet fierce true faces of celebrities that Seo Ah Ri meets after jumping into a world in which people gain money just by becoming famous.
Having previously impressed in “Sweet Home,” “The Devil Judge,” and “Dali and Cocky Prince,” Park Gyu Young will play Seo Ah Ri whose life changes after stepping into the world of celebrities. As a celebrity who suddenly appears like a comet, she turns her life around in an instant with unconventional moves unlike other influencers.
Kang Min Hyuk, who previously captivated in “Oh! Master,” “Hospital Ship,” “How To Be Thirty,” and more, will be taking on the role of CEO Han Joon Kyung of Han Cosmetics, which is Korea’s leading cosmetics brand. He shows no interest in anything other than work, but he begins to feel charmed by Seo Ah Ri’s unpredictable nature.
Lee Chung Ah of “Awaken,” “VIP,” and “Because This is My First Life” and will be playing Yoon Shi Hyun who has elegance, dignity, and even a great background. She is the daughter of a five-term lawmaker, the chairman of the Haeum Cultural Foundation, and the daughter-in-law of the law firm Taekang. She is the envy of everyone, but her life becomes shaken up after meeting Seo Ah Ri.
Yoo Shi Hyun’s husband and Taekang’s representative lawyer Jin Tae Jeon will be played by Lee Dong Gun of “Where Stars Land” and “Queen for Seven Days.” He does whatever it takes to achieve his goals, but Seo Ah Ri’s unpredictable movements begin to get on his nerves.
After starring in “Memorist,” “Introverted Boss,” and “Wanted,” Jun Hyosung will be making her new transformation into Oh Min Hye, Seo Ah Ri’s friend from her school days and an influencer who is rising in popularity. With the help of famous people, she has become the social media celebrity she has dreamt of becoming. Oh Min Hye is the one who leads Seo Ah Ri into the world of celebrities.
