“Stove League” actor Lee Eol has passed away.

On May 26, Lee Eol’s agency Starit Entertainment shared, “After battling throat cancer, Lee Eol passed away this morning.” The actor had been battling cancer since 2021, following the conclusion of his drama “Voice 4.”

Lee Eol has been laid to rest at Seoul Medical Center and his funeral will be held on May 28.

Lee Eol made his theater debut in 1983 and has since appeared in films such as “Festival,” “Waikiki Brothers,” and “Kim Ji Young, Born 1982.” He has also played supporting roles in dramas “Live,” “Voice 4,” “Stove League,” and “It’s Okay to Not be Okay,” among others.
