Previously, Yoo Jung risked her life to annihilate Park Gye Won (Jang Hyuk) and his entire family. In the process, she utilized her standing as the daughter of Yoo Hak Su, a queen who was removed from her royal standing and died as a traitor. Pushed to the edge, Park Gye Won expressed his desperation but couldn’t help but admire Yoo Jung’s efforts.
Furthermore, Lee Tae gave in to Jo Won Pyo’s (Heo Sung Tae‘s) prolonged pushes to spend the night with Jo Yeon Hee (Choi Ri). He entered her room only to rush out later. Lee Tae headed directly to Yoo Jung and let out all the emotions he had been suppressing, even planting a kiss on her lips.
In the released stills, viewers can feel the thick air of tension hanging around Lee Tae, Yoo Jung, and Park Gye Won. Knowing that the three are in one space is enough to grab one’s attention.
While Lee Tae is brimming with anxiety, Park Gye Won seems calm. Yoo Jung’s gaze towards Park Gye Won is full of distrust, but her attention soon shifts to Lee Tae for unknown reasons. A single comment from Park Gye Won will send Lee Tae down a rabbit hole of fear and Yoo Jung into a trance of hard concentration.
The production team commented, “In episode 9, Park Gye Won’s actions lead to another three-way face-off with Lee Tae and Yoo Jung. Please check out his unusual actions and the reason why he brought the two together after being pushed to the edge by Yoo Jung in today’s broadcast.”
“Bloody Heart” airs every Monday and Tuesday at 9:30 p.m. KST.
