VIXX's Hyuk Announces Departure From Jellyfish Entertainment With Handwritten Letter

VIXX’s Hyuk has parted ways with Jellyfish Entertainment.

On June 2, the VIXX member posted a handwritten letter announcing his departure from the agency.

Hello, this is VIXX’s Hyuk.

I’ve been cautious about how to tell Starlight (VIXX’s fandom) this. After thinking about it a lot, I realized it would be better to tell you myself than to let you hear the news through articles or other places. So, I’m writing this letter.

I’ve decided to wrap up my time with Jellyfish Entertainment, which I’ve been with for ten years, and take some time to reorganize in order to go to a new environment.

May was a meaningful month because it was the 10th anniversary of VIXX and Starlight. I only wanted to deliver good news then, and I wanted us to enjoy our 10th anniversary to the fullest. That’s why I’m telling you this now.

I’m worried that I might have surprised you with the sudden news. Also, it’s my first time experiencing these challenges and environments, so I’m not used to it, and I’ve had a lot on my mind. But one thing for sure is that the time I spent with you on stage and those bright times together were the happiest moments of my life. I want to tell you that won’t change in the future.

No matter where I am, I will do my best to become a proud person as your artist and the youngest member of VIXX. Please remember that there is always Starlight at the end of my path.

Lastly, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the Jellyfish Entertainment family for allowing me to meet VIXX, which is like my root, and Starlight and helping me a lot during the time I grew little by little.

Please continue to trust and watch the activities of VIXX’s youngest member Hyuk and Han Sang Hyuk (real name). Thank you always, and I love you. Starlight!
