So Ji Sub Gears Up For Revenge Against Lee Kyung Young In "Doctor Lawyer"

So Ji Sub is determined more than ever to get revenge in MBC’s “Doctor Lawyer”!

“Doctor Lawyer” is a new drama about a genius surgeon who becomes a medical malpractice lawyer after losing everything due to a rigged surgery and a prosecutor who loses her only family and lover through that same surgery. Together, they set out to punish those who believe that the importance of a person’s life can be ranked based on their wealth and power.

So Ji Sub stars as the titular medical malpractice lawyer Han Yi Han, who changed careers after a devastating incident in the operating room. Im Soo Hyang plays Geum Seok Young, a passionate prosecutor who believes firmly in justice. Shin Sung Rok takes on the role of the mysterious Jayden Lee, the head of the Asian branch of Honors Hand, a company specializing in lobby and investment.

Previously, Han Yi Han was robbed of everything because of a manipulated operation that had been set up by Goo Jin Ki (Lee Kyung Young) and returned five years later as a lawyer to get revenge. He became the lawyer of Park Ki Tae (Kim Hyung Muk), who was accused of medical negligence and holds the critical evidence from the surgery five years ago. Han Yi Han’s plan was to clear his charges and get to the bottom of the rigged operation, but his plans went down the drain when Park Ki Tae was killed in prison.

With viewers eagerly anticipating to find out what will be Han Yi Han’s backup plan, “Doctor Lawyer” unveiled new stills that show Han Yi Han officially gearing up for revenge. In the first photo, he’s participating in a news interview in what appears to be in front of a prison. The next couple photos show him consulting with clients, and his keen eyes are sparkling with intelligence. He’s exuding completely different vibes from when he was a warm doctor five years ago.

The drama’s production team stated, “Han Yi Han’s heart is seething with revenge. But he will never lose his cool and sharpness, and step by step, he will begin to corner Goo Jin Ki in his own way. So Ji Sub is depicting Han Yi Han’s desperate situation, which he has to portray with both coldness and hotness, with deep acting and strong concentration. Viewers will be able to immerse into [the drama] that much. Please give it lots of interest and anticipation.”

Episode 4 of “Doctor Lawyer” will air on June 11 at 9:50 p.m. KST.
