“Jinxed at First” is coming soon to present a refreshing, funny, and lovable story!

Based on a webtoon called “The Jinx’s Lover,” KBS 2TV’s “Jinxed at First” is a new fantasy romance drama about what happens when a poor, unlucky man stumbles upon a goddess of fortune, who has jumped out into the unknown to undo a curse despite having been hidden away by a chaebol family.

Na In Woo will star as the “jinxed” fish seller Gong Soo Kwang, while Girls’ Generation’s Seohyun will star as Seul Bi, who has the special power of being able to see a person’s future when she touches them.

With less than a day left until the drama’s premiere, here are three important points you should look out for in “Jinxed at First”!

1. A modern-day “goddess of fortune” who will turn a fairytale into reality

After living her entire life hidden away from society, Seul Bi coincidentally meets Gong Soo Kwang one day and their magical, unforgettable day spent together inspires her to escape into the real world. As Seul Bi has the mysterious ability to see one’s future just by touching them, meeting new people will offer Seul Bi a wide array of eye-opening experiences. Viewers will also be able to learn whether Seul Bi will be able to escape from the grasp of Sun Sam Joong (Jun Kwang Ryul), who tries to abuse her unique ability, and find true happiness.

2. The fateful meeting between the goddess of fortune and the unlucky man

Seul Bi, who brings fortune and luck to all those around her, develops a surprising relationship with Gong Soo Kwang, an icon of misfortune and bad luck. Their differences don’t stop here and the pair continue to clash because Seul Bi is a bright, immature, and naïve soul, while Gong Soo Kwang constantly looks defeated after experiencing a great tragedy. Although they’re clearly opposites, the story will showcase how their fates are intertwined and how they’re able to grow close and develop a special romance.
