“Sweet Home” is officially confirmed for two more seasons!

On June 15, Netflix revealed that they will be simultaneously producing Seasons 2 and 3 of “Sweet Home” together.

Based on a webtoon of the same name, “Sweet Home” is a popular series about a loner high school student who moves into a new apartment when monsters start breaking out among humanity and the apartment residents are trapped inside the building. The first season starred Song Kang, Lee Si Young, Lee Do Hyun, Lee Jin Wook, Park Gyu Young, Go Min Si, and more.

For Season 2, Song Kang, Lee Jin Wook, Lee Si Young, Park Gyu Young, and Go Min Si are confirmed to return. After barely escaping the Green Home, Hyun Soo (Song Kang) was captured by the military, while Sang Wook (Lee Jin Wook) appeared with his burn scars having been healed. The new seasons raise anticipation for how Lee Kyung (Lee Si Young), Eun Yoo (Go Min So), and Ji Soo (Park Gyu Young) will survive in a world full of monsters. Furthermore, Yoo Oh Sung, Oh Jung Se, Kim Moo Yeol, and Jung Jinyoung will be joining the cast.

Yoo Oh Sung, who previously captivated audiences in “The Veil,” “Invisible Man,” “Tomb of the River,” “Friend,” and more, will be taking on the role of Sergeant Tak In Hwan who leads the Special Forces Guard created to protect the safety of the people from monsters.

Oh Jung Se, who showcased his wide acting spectrum in “Uncle,” “Jirisan,” “It’s Okay to Not Be Okay,” “When the Camellia Blooms,” “Extreme Jobs,” and more, will be starring as Doctor Im who is researching vaccines.

Kim Moo Yeol, who proved his acting capabilities in “Juvenile Justice” and “Grid,” will transform into Kim Young Hoo, a former UDT (Republic of Korea Navy Special Warfare Flotilla) sergeant who is now second-in-command of the Special Forces Guard.

Jung Jinyoung, who impressed in “Police University,” “My First First Love,” “Love in the Moonlight,” and more, will be playing the role of Private Park Chan Young of the Special Forces Guard.

Along with the confirmation of two more seasons for “Sweet Home,” Netflix revealed photos of the cast wearing matching shirts with the text for “Sweet Home” Seasons 2 and 3. Viewers are anticipating the upcoming suspenseful story and the ensemble’s performance as the mystery of the monsters continues.

The production team and director Lee Eung Bok of Season 1 will work together once again for the new seasons. Previously, director Lee Eung Bok shared, “Season 2 will have a new location as the backdrop, and the technical details that we couldn’t refine in Season 1 will be further honed in Season 2.”
