SEVENTEEN, TXT, BTS, NCT DREAM, BLACKPINK, And ITZY Claim Top Spots On Billboard's World Albums Chart

Billboard has released its World Albums chart for the week ending on June 18!

SEVENTEEN’s latest studio album “Face the Sun” rose to No. 1 on this week’s World Albums chart, in addition to becoming the group’s first album ever to enter the top 10 of the Billboard 200. 

Face the Sun” also swept the No. 1 spot on both Billboard’s Top Album Sales chart and Top Current Album Sales chart, and it debuted at No. 13 on the Tastemaker Albums chart. SEVENTEEN re-entered the Artist 100 at No. 5 this week—their highest ranking yet on the chart—and their title track “HOT” stayed strong at No. 9 on the World Digital Song Sales chart.

After spending three consecutive weeks at No. 1 on the World Albums chart, TXT’s latest mini album “minisode 2: Thursday’s Child” came in at No. 2 this week. “minisode 2: Thursday’s Child” also spent a fourth consecutive week in the top 60 of the Billboard 200, making it the first K-pop album of 2022 to spend four weeks in the top 100 of the chart.

Once again, BTS landed an impressive total of six albums on the World Albums chart: “Map of the Soul: 7” rose to No. 5, followed by “Love Yourself: Her” at No. 6, “BE” at No. 7, “Love Yourself: Tear” at No. 8, and “Love Yourself: Answer” at No. 10, while “Skool Luv Affair” re-entered the chart at No. 14.

Meanwhile, NCT DREAM’s repackaged album “Beatbox” debuted at No. 9 on this week’s chart.

Continuing its impressive streak, BLACKPINK’s “THE ALBUM” climbed to No. 11 in its 88th consecutive week on the chart.

Finally, ITZY’s 2021 album “CRAZY IN LOVE” re-entered the chart at No. 15 for its 32nd non-consecutive week on the chart.
