Seo Hyun Jin Is Arrested By The Police As Hwang In Yeop Worriedly Looks On In

SBS’s “Why Her?” has shared an intriguing sneak peek of its next episode!

“Why Her?” is a mystery romance drama starring Seo Hyun Jin as Oh Soo Jae, a cold-hearted lawyer who has grown empty after only chasing success, and Hwang In Yeop as law student Gong Chan, who would do anything to protect her.

Spoilers

On the previous episode of the drama, Oh Soo Jae received a strange phone call from Hong Seok Pal (Lee Chul Min), who cryptically told her, “What if I told you I killed Park So Young?” When Oh Soo Jae went to meet him, she found him already unconscious in his car—and the episode ended on a shocking cliffhanger as the car exploded twice.

In the drama’s upcoming episode, Oh Soo Jae—the last person to speak to Hong Seok Pal over the phone and the only witness to his death—becomes the prime suspect in his murder. Newly released stills from the episode show police detectives arriving at the law school to arrest Oh Soo Jae, who remains formidably calm even as she is led away in handcuffs.

However, in contrast to Oh Soo Jae’s unshakable composure, Gong Chan is visibly upset as he stands before her and the detectives on their way out of the school. As he looks into her eyes, his unflinching gaze makes it clear that he needs no explanation to instinctively trust her—and that he is already determined to help clear her name.

The producers of “Why Her?” teased, “Hong Seok Pal’s final deeds, which cause Oh Soo Jae to sink further into her quagmire, will be revealed [in the upcoming episode]. The investigation into the truth hidden behind these suspicious lies and secrets will unfold in an exciting way.”

To find out what lies in store for Oh Soo Jae, tune in to the next episode of “Why Her?” on June 24 at 10 p.m. KST!
