Is there hope for Kim Go Eun and Ahn Bo Hyun in “Yumi’s Cells 2”?

Based on the popular webtoon of the same name, “Yumi’s Cells” tells the story of an ordinary office worker named Yumi— from the point of view of the many brain cells in her head controlling her every thought, feeling, and action. Kim Go Eun plays the titular role of Yumi, an ordinary woman who struggles with expressing her feelings, while GOT7’s Jinyoung stars as her charming co-worker Yoo Babi.

On July 14, “Yumi’s Cells 2” released new stills featuring Yumi and her ex-boyfriend Goo Woong (Ahn Bo Hyun), who is now a successful game developer

Previously, Yumi underwent a heart-wrenching breakup with Yoo Babi in order to chase after true happiness. When Goo Woong found that Yumi was single, he asked Control Z (Block B’s P.O) for help so that he can get back with her. Goo Woong, who wonders if he still has a chance with her, approaches her in a slow, careful manner.

The newly released stills of Yumi and Goo Woong make viewers look forward to their bright future. They go to a cafe and smile at each other while making eye contact. The atmosphere is warm, and there’s hope in the air. Furthermore, their fateful encounter continues at the hospital. Goo Woong is sitting on a hospital bed with a cast on his arm, and Yumi is right beside him.

In episodes 11 and 12 that will air on July 15 at 4 p.m. KST, both Yumi’s ex-boyfriends will make an appearance. What kind of emotional changes are in store for Yumi?
