TWICE's Nayeon Becomes 1st K-Pop Soloist In History To Chart An Album For 3 Weeks On Billboard 200

TWICE’s Nayeon continues to make history on the Billboard charts!

After her solo debut mini album “IM NAYEON” debuted at No. 7 on the Billboard 200 earlier this month, making her the first K-pop soloist ever to enter the top 10, Nayeon has now set another new record on the chart.

As of July 19 local time, Nayeon has become the first K-pop soloist in history to have an album spend three weeks on the Billboard 200 (the commonly used name for Billboard’s Top 200 Albums chart, which ranks the most popular albums in the United States). For the week ending on July 23, “IM NAYEON” successfully remained on the Billboard 200 at No. 86, marking its third consecutive week on the chart.

To add to that achievement, Nayeon is now also the first K-pop soloist in history to chart for three consecutive weeks on Billboard’s Artist 100, where she ranked No. 59 this week.

Additionally, “IM NAYEON” stayed strong at No. 4 on Billboard’s World Albums chart, No. 5 on both the Top Album Sales chart and the Top Current Album Sales chart, and No. 10 on the Tastemaker Albums chart this week.

Finally, Nayeon’s title track “POP!” held steady at No. 20 on Billboard’s Global Excl. U.S. chart, while also climbing back up to No. 36 on the Global 200.

Congratulations to Nayeon on her ongoing success on the U.S. charts!
