TXT Becomes 1st K-Pop Artist To Spend 10 Weeks On Billboard 200 With 2022 Album

TXT’s “minisode 2: Thursday’s Child” has become the first K-pop album of 2022 to spend 10 weeks on the Billboard 200!

For the week ending on July 30, TXT’s latest mini album held steady on Billboard’s Top 200 Albums chart—its weekly ranking of the most popular albums in the United States—at No. 128, maintaining its position from last week.

Not only has “minisode 2: Thursday’s Child” extended its own record as the longest-charting K-pop album of the year, but it has also made TXT only the third K-pop artist in history to have multiple albums chart for 10 weeks on the Billboard 200, following BTS and NCT 127.

“minisode 2: Thursday’s Child” also stayed strong at No. 6 on this week’s World Albums chart, in addition to sweeping the No. 7 spot on both the Top Album Sales chart and the Top Current Album Sales chart.

Finally, TXT held onto their spot at No. 62 on Billboard’s Artist 100 this week, marking their 29th overall week on the chart.

Congratulations to TXT!
