Kang Ha Neul And Lee Yoo Young Say Goodbye To "Insider" + Tease What To Look Forward To In Finale

The stars of JTBC’s “Insider” have shared their thoughts ahead of the drama’s upcoming finale!

With the series winding to a close this week, Kang Ha Neul and Lee Yoo Young got emotional as they looked back on their time filming the action suspense drama.

Heaping praise on his fellow cast and crew members by describing them as “masters of their craft,” Kang Ha Neul recalled, “From the beginning, we were all very determined to create a drama that wasn’t common or ordinary. It was with that kind of mindset that I filmed this drama together with ‘masters of their craft.’ So I don’t have any regrets.”

He went on to emphasize his sorrow at having to part ways with the rest of the cast and crew, noting, “There were many moments and a certain level of depth that I had never experienced before this drama. I don’t think it will be easy for me to come across another drama like this one, where the director and entire staff are so full of passion for the drama that they put their heads together on set to diligently ponder [every last detail].”

As for what awaits viewers in the final episode, Kang Ha Neul teased, “The battle with Yoon Byung Wook is only just getting started. Through his unique sense of justice, Kim Yo Han will try to untangle his current situation, which has gotten as tangled as it can get.”

“I think you’ll be able to see the unwavering convictions of Kim Yo Han, who was only trampled while inside the prison,” he continued. “Instead of being crushed and falling apart, Kim Yo Han has only grown stronger. Please keep an eye on him.”

Finally, Kang Ha Neul told viewers, “Thank you for giving your love and affection to our drama. We all worked hard to try and make a story that was already fun to read as a script even more entertaining [as a drama]. If I may be so bold, I’d like to thank all of you on behalf of the many people on our team.”

Meanwhile, Lee Yoo Young hinted that there was plenty of excitement still to come in the final chapter of the story.

“Will Oh Soo Yeon be able to escape the danger she currently finds herself in?” asked the actress. “Many exciting new plot twists await. Please stay tuned to find out whether Kim Yo Han and Oh Soo Yeon will be able to achieve their goals and succeed in their revenge.”

She went on to express her gratitude to the drama’s viewers by saying, “I’m so sad that it’s already the last episode. I’ll greet you again through another great project in the future. Thank you so much for watching and loving ‘Insider.’ I hope you’ll remember it for a long, long time.”

The final episode of “Insider” will air on July 28 at 10:30 p.m. KST.
