Kim Tae Ri, So Ji Sub, And “Alienoid” Director Choi Dong Hoon Test Positive For COVID-19
On July 27, it was revealed that director Choi Dong Hoon and So Ji Sub had both tested positive for COVID-19. A source from So Ji Sub’s agency 51K shared, “So Ji Sub checked that he tested positive using a self-testing kit. He then took a PCR test and received a positive result.”
CJ ENM announced through their official social media account that they would be cancelling director Choi Dong Hoon’s and Kim Tae Ri’s appearances to greet moviegoers due to confirmed COVID-19 cases.
The following day on July 28, Kim Tae Ri’s agency Management mmm shared the following statement:
Hello. This is Management mmm.
On July 27, Kim Tae Ri was classified to be a close contact with someone who tested positive for COVID-19, and she tested positive on the self-testing kit she used, so she immediately carried out a PCR test. She ultimately received a positive test this morning.
Kim Tae Ri halted all her scheduled activities, and she will self-quarantine in accordance to the guidelines of the government health authorities and concentrate on treatment. Currently, she has no special symptoms.
We will adhere to the guidelines of government health authorities and do everything we can while considering the health of our actors and staff our top priority.
