MONSTA X’s Joohoney and Hyungwon To Step Down As Hosts Of “Idol Radio”

MONSTA X’s Joohoney and Hyungwon will no longer be the hosts of MBC’s “Idol Radio.”

On July 29, MBC Radio shared that the two idols will step down from their DJ positions for “Idol Radio Season 2” after their final broadcast on August 4. They first became the hosts of “Idol Radio” in August 2021 and held the position for about a year.

The production team of “Idol Radio” commented, “We wish Hyungwon and Joohoney, who successfully led ‘Idol Radio Season 2’ for a year, all the best. We’ll have special guest DJs for the time being and return with new hosts for season 3.”

“Idol Radio” is an idol-centric radio program that airs every Friday and Saturday at 2 a.m. KST on MBC Radio and every Saturday and Sunday at 12 a.m. KST on MBC FM4U.

In the meantime, watch Hyungwon in “Fly Again“:
