NCT 127's Mark, Jaehyun, And Johnny To Sit Out Upcoming Japan Fan Meeting After Continuing To Test Positive For COVID-19
NCT 127’s Mark, Jaehyun, and Johnny will be unable to participate in the group’s upcoming fan meeting in Japan.
On August 1, SM Entertainment announced that Mark, Jaehyun, and Johnny had completed a week of quarantine since testing positive for COVID-19 last week. However, after coming out of quarantine, the three members were still testing positive and thus unable to take their flight. As a result, NCT 127’s Japan fan meeting will be held with six members.

We sincerely thank you for always supporting NCT 127.
We have an announcement to make with regards to the appearances for the fan club event ‘NCTzen 127-JAPAN Meeting 2022 ‘School 127” that is scheduled for August 2 (Tuesday) and 3 (Wednesday) 2022 at the Saitama Super Arena.
After testing positive for COVID-19 last week, Mark, Jaehyun, and Johnny followed guidelines from healthcare authorities by quarantining and completing at-home treatment for seven days. Once released from quarantine, Mark, Jaehyun, and Johnny completed PCR tests in order to participate in said event, but all three members tested positive and were unfortunately unable to take their flight.
As a result, excluding Mark, Jaehyun, and Johnny, this event will be held with six members Taeil, Taeyong, Yuta, Doyoung, Jungwoo, and Haechan. We are incredibly sorry for causing worry and an inconvenience to the many people supporting NCT 127, Johnny, Jaehyun, and Mark, but we ask for your understanding. Additionally, it will be difficult to refund tickets as a result of this change. Please, we ask for your understanding.
On July 25, SM Entertainment announced that Mark had tested positive for COVID-19. Shortly after, Mark’s fellow NCT DREAM member Renjun was also diagnosed, forcing the group to cancel their three-night concert at the Gocheok Sky Dome.
Wishing the NCT members speedy recoveries!
