Ji Chang Wook’s Duality Shines Behind The Scenes Of New Drama “If You Wish Upon Me”
“If You Wish Upon Me” is a new drama inspired by an actual organization in the Netherlands that fulfills the wishes of terminal cancer patients. Ji Chang Wook will star as Yoon Gyeo Re, a man who has been pushed to his limits by a difficult life full of struggles. However, when Yoon Gyeo Re winds up having to volunteer at a hospice, he finds his life changing in unexpected ways while helping to make the patients’ wishes come true.
In the newly released behind-the-scenes photos, Ji Chang Wook shows off his contrasting charms as he switches effortlessly from laser focus to a beaming smile. While monitoring his own performance and discussing scenes with the cast and crew, the actor is as serious as can be—but in more lighthearted moments, he lights up the set with his cheerful grin and infectious energy.
One heart-melting photo also captures the star adorably keeping a dog warm inside his coat between takes.
The producers of “If You Wish Upon Me” commented, “Actor Ji Chang Wook is displaying flawless acting abilities, from his focus on set and his detailed portrayal of emotions to the way he passionately throws himself into action and comedy scenes without reservations. The character of Yoon Gyeo Re could only have been played by Ji Chang Wook. We hope that many people will join us for this one page in Yoon Gyeo Re’s life, which is a roller coaster ride full of ups and downs.”
