JYP Announces Xdinary Heroes' Jooyeon Has Injured His Ankle + Addresses Plans For Future Activities

Xdinary Heroes’ Jooyeon is currently recovering from a minor ankle injury.

On the evening of August 7, JYP Entertainment officially announced that Jooyeon had injured his ankle during his schedule earlier that day and had gone to the hospital to be examined.

According to the agency, the injury was deemed to be a minor one, suggesting that it would be possible for him to continue promoting with the rest of the band. However, JYP Entertainment says that they are discussing the possibility of playing it safe by having Jooyeon only participate in his scheduled activities “to the extent where it would not cause strain on Jooyeon’s [injured leg].”

The agency’s full statement is as follows:

Hello, this is JYPE.

While carrying out his schedule today, Xdinary Heroes member Jooyeon suffered a minor ankle injury and went to the hospital to receive a diagnosis.

Although the doctor gave the opinion that it is a minor injury, we plan to have Jooyeon only partake in future activities after discussing the possibility of his participating only to the extent where it will not cause strain on Jooyeon’s [injured leg]. Our agency considers the health of our artist to be our top priority, and we will do our utmost to help Jooyeon recover quickly.
