STAYC Cancels Fan Meeting After 5 Members Test Positive For COVID-19

STAYC has cancelled their schedule due to five members testing positive for COVID-19.

On August 8, HIGH-UP Entertainment announced that Sumin, Sieun, Isa, and Seeun have been diagnosed with COVID-19. The STAYC members tested negative through the self-testing kits they used before attending their schedules. However, on the early morning of this day, Sieun had a mild sore throat and used another self-testing kit, which came out positive. Therefore, she underwent rapid antigen testing and was diagnosed with COVID-19.

The rest of the members tested negative through the self-testing kits, but Sumin, Isa, and Seeun tested positive on the rapid antigen test that they preemptively took. All members have completed their third vaccinations, and other than a sore throat, the four members are showing no particular symptoms. They are receiving treatment at home in accordance with the guidelines of the health authorities.

On August 9, HIGH-UP Entertainment announced the results of Yoon’s and J’s COVID-19 tests.

This is HIGH-UP Entertainment.

We are informing you that STAYC member J tested positive for COVID-19 on August 9 (Tuesday).

J tested negative through the PCR test that she took on August 8, but she had mild body aches, so she underwent an additional rapid antigen test. She was diagnosed with COVID-19 on August 9. Currently, J has no particular symptoms other than mild body aches, and she is receiving treatment at home in keeping with government health authorities’ guidelines.

Yoon tested negative through both the PCR test conducted on August 8 and the rapid antigen test she preemptively took on August 9.

As a result, we inform you that STACY’s first fan meeting “STAY COOL PARTY” scheduled for August 13 will be temporarily postponed. Currently, we are reviewing the status of the artists’ health and event postponement, and we will quickly notify you of the event and the purchased tickets after the review. We would like to express our deep apology to the fans, who made reservations in anticipation of this event, for the regret and inconvenience. We will monitor the artists’ health first and quickly make another announcement.
