NCT DREAM To Be 7th Idol Group In History To Hold Concert At Seoul Olympic Stadium After Canceling Sold-Out Dome Concert

After canceling their sold-out three-night concert at Seoul’s Gocheok Sky Dome, NCT DREAM has rescheduled the show at an even larger venue!

Last month, NCT DREAM was scheduled to perform for three nights at the Gocheok Sky Dome from July 29 to 31, and all three shows were fully sold out—with a staggering 1.6 million people simultaneously logging on to the ticketing site in order to buy tickets. However, when both Mark and Renjun tested positive for COVID-19 days beforehand, the concert was ultimately cancelled.

On August 10, SM Entertainment officially announced that NCT DREAM’s “THE DREAM SHOW 2 : In A Dream” concert had been rescheduled for September 8 and 9—and that the concert would now be held at Seoul Olympic Stadium, the largest stadium in South Korea.

Additionally, for fans who are unable to attend in person, the second night of the concert (September 9) will be streamed live through Naver’s Beyond LIVE.

Only six idol groups in history have ever held concerts at Seoul Olympic Stadium before: H.O.T., g.o.d, Shinhwa, JYJ, EXO, and BTS, making NCT DREAM only the seventh to achieve this impressive feat.

Tickets for “THE DREAM SHOW 2 : In A Dream” will go on pre-sale next week before opening to the general public on August 24 at 8 p.m. KST.
