NewJeans Rises To No. 1 With "Attention"; Soompi's K-Pop Music Chart 2022, August Week 3
NewJeans scored their first No. 1 song this week! The rookie girl group’s debut hit “Attention” rose to the top spot, only taking three weeks for the group to achieve the feat. Congratulations to NewJeans!
Despite some of the members members being with different agencies now, Girls’ Generation delighted fans by releasing their first album in five years for their 15th anniversary since their debut. “FOREVER 1,” the title track of their seventh studio album, jumps 38 spots to No. 2 this week.
Rounding out the top three is last week’s No. 1 song ITZY’s “SNEAKERS,” down two spots to No. 3.
