Woo Do Hwan, WJSN’s Bona, And VIXX’s Cha Hak Yeon Confirmed To Star In New Historical Drama
On August 24, it was confirmed that Woo Do Hwan, Bona, and Cha Hak Yeon will be starring in MBC’s new drama “Joseon Attorney” (literal title).
“Joseon Attorney” tells the story of an oejibu (attorney in Joseon Dynasty) who takes revenge on an enemy that caused the death of his parents through a trial. Although the drama starts with revenge, it will depict the growth of the protagonist who gradually becomes a real attorney that cares for the people. The upcoming drama will be novel in that it deals with the story of an attorney in Joseon Dynasty unlike other historical dramas that mainly depict the stories of royal families.
Woo Do Hwan, who established himself as a rising star by making strong impressions in dramas such as “Save Me” and “MAD DOG,” solidified his position as a promising lead actor through “My Country” and “The King: Eternal Monarch.” The actor will portray the protagonist Kang Han Soo, an attorney with great charms.
Bona, who perfectly took on her character in “Twenty Five, Twenty One,” will take on the role of Lee Yeon Joo, a princess who truly cares for the country and the people. Lee Yeon Joo is a woman of misfortune who falls for a star-crossed love while hiding her true identity.
Cha Hak Yeon, who made his presence known on the small screen through projects such as “Mine” and “Bad and Crazy,” will play Yoo Ji Seon, a judge at Hanseongbu and the third-generation only son of the most prestigious family in Joseon Dynasty. Yoo Ji Seon is a person who strives for fair judgment and has a dream that cannot be achieved due to the gap between his ideals and reality.
Anticipation is high for the new historical drama “Joseon Attorney,” which will be portrayed by the three young actors with uniquely different charms.
“Joseon Attorney” will start filming soon.
