Watch: "2022 Idol Star Athletics Championships" Teases Action And Excitement In New Preview

MBC’s “2022 Idol Star Athletics Championships” (ISAC) has shared a fun sneak peek of its upcoming Chuseok broadcast!

In just 10 days, MBC’s long-running “Idol Star Athletics Championships” special will return to air for the first time in three years, marking the end of a lengthy hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Jun Hyun Moo, TWICE‘s Dahyun, and FTISLAND’s Lee Hong Ki were previously announced as the main MCs for this year’s show, and the five main event categories were confirmed to be track and field, archery, dance sports, futsal, and eSports.

On August 30, MBC released a preview of the special that features brief glimpses of its star-studded lineup of competitors, including IVE’s An Yu Jin, NMIXX’s Sullyoon, Kim Jae Hwan, Jeong Sewoon, ATEEZ’s Wooyoung, Billlie’s Tsuki, NCT’s Jungwoo, and more. The video also offers an exciting introduction to the dance sports event, which was newly added this year.

The “2022 Idol Star Athletics Championships” will air in three parts over the Chuseok holiday on September 9, 11, and 12.
