So Ju Yeon And Seo Ji Hoon Synchronize Perfectly With Original Webtoon Characters In Posters For New School Drama

So Ju Yeon and Seo Ji Hoon look like they have stepped out of a webtoon for upcoming drama “Seasons of Blossom” (working title)!

Warning: Mentions of suicide below.

Based on the popular webtoon of the same name, drama “Seasons of Blossom” tells the story of love and friendship of 18-year-old youths at Seoyeon High School. The omniverse-style story focuses on a different main character for each of the four seasons.

“Seasons of Blossom” will depict the butterfly effect that occurs when an incident from six years ago of a boy committing suicide and a girl being unable to stop him begins to affect the current teens living in the present. The story will also highlight the concerns and growth of young adults who cannot be honest and hide themselves.

Seo Ji Hoon plays Lee Ha Min, who appears cheerful on the outside but can be quite cynical, while So Ju Yeon portrays the timid but strong Han So Mang.

On September 5, “Seasons of Blossom” shared posters of the two characters. Seo Ji Hoon reproduced Lee Ha Min’s cynical expression, whereas So Ju Yeon flawlessly captured Han So Mang’s radiant smile. The two are posing against a dazzling backdrop that symbolizes summer, but the texts on their posters convey completely different thoughts about it.

The poster of Han So Mang, who is clearly smiling but exudes some kind of sadness, reads, “The summer when I said goodbye to you has come again.” Meanwhile, Lee Ha Min stares somewhere far away with the words “I hope summer will end soon.”

To find out about what happened that summer, tune in to the premiere of “Seasons of Blossom” that airs on September 21 at 5 p.m. KST.

In the meantime, watch Seo Ji Hoon in “Meow, the Secret Boy” below!
