Girls' Generation's Sooyoung And Shin Joo Hwan Go On A Fancy Date In "If You Wish Upon Me"

KBS 2TV’s “If You Wish Upon Me” shared a sneak peek ahead of tonight’s broadcast!

“If You Wish Upon Me” is a drama inspired by an actual organization in the Netherlands that fulfills the wishes of terminal cancer patients. Ji Chang Wook  stars as Yoon Gyeo Re, a man who has been pushed to his limits by a difficult life full of struggles. However, when he winds up having to volunteer at a hospice, he finds his life changing in unexpected ways while helping to make the patients’ wishes come true.

Girls’ Generation’s Sooyoung stars in the drama as Seo Yeon Joo, a tough and cheerful nurse at the hospice who loves to work out, and Shin Joo Hwan plays Yang Chi Hoon, a doctor at the hospice who is a stickler for rules.

Yang Chi Hoon has been next to Seo Yeon Joo’s side for a long time while harboring secret feelings for her. However, he noticed that she got along well with Yoon Gyeo Re, causing him to experience complex emotions.

In the newly released stills, Seo Yeon Joo and Yang Chi Hoon are sitting across from each other at a luxurious restaurant. Yang Chi Hoon, who is all dressed up for their date, gazes at Seo Yeon Joo with sweet eyes, hinting how long he has been waiting for his day. Seo Yeon Joo is also dolled up for the date, but when she returns home, she stares blankly ahead of her, signaling some turbulence in her love life.

The drama’s production team remarked, “In today’s broadcast, following the appearance of Ha Jun Kyung (Won Ji An), the love square between Yoon Gyeo Re, Seo Yeon Joo, Ha Jun Kyung, and Yang Chi Hoon will officially begin. Please pay a lot of attention to how the relationships between the four people with complicated feelings will end.”
