TWICE, BTS, ENHYPEN, SEVENTEEN, TXT, Nayeon, ITZY, NewJeans, And aespa Sweep Top Spots On Billboard's World Albums Chart

Billboard has released its World Albums chart for the week ending on September 10!

TWICE’s new mini album “BETWEEN 1&2” entered the chart at No. 1, in addition to debuting at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Album Sales chart and Top Current Album Sales chart. TWICE also re-entered Billboard’s Artist 100 at No. 1 this week, making them only the second female K-pop artist in history to top the chart.

Meanwhile, TWICE’s Nayeon‘s solo debut mini album “IM NAYEON” stayed strong at No. 7 in its 10th consecutive week on the World Albums chart, extending its own record as the longest-charting album by any female K-pop soloist in history.

BTS’s anthology album “Proof” came in at No. 2 in its 12th consecutive week on the World Albums chart, and ENHYPEN’s latest mini album “MANIFESTO : DAY 1” charted at No. 4 in its fifth week. (“MANIFESTO : DAY 1” also became ENHYPEN’s first album ever to spend five weeks on the Billboard 200 this week.)

SEVENTEEN’s “SECTOR 17“—the repackaged version of their fourth studio album “Face the Sun“—ranked No. 5 in its sixth week on the World Albums chart, while “Face the Sun” also charted separately, rising to No. 13 in its 14th week.

TXT’s “minisode 2: Thursday’s Child” took No. 6 in its 17th consecutive week on the chart, followed by ITZY’s “CHECKMATE” at No. 11 in its seventh week.

NewJeans’ debut EP “New Jeans” held onto its spot at No. 12 in its fourth week on the chart, and aespa’s “Girls” rounded out the top 15 in its eighth week.

Congratulations to all of the artists!
