TO1's Chan Tests Positive For COVID-19

TO1’s Chan will be halting activities after testing positive for COVID-19.

Last week, TO1’s agency WAKEONE Entertainment announced that Chan would sit out the group’s performance at the New York stop of the KCON 2022 U.S. tour due to health concerns.

On September 8, the agency shared the following statement in English to announce Chan’s COVID-19 diagnosis:

Hello, this is WAKEONE.

Yesterday (September 7), TO1 member Chan tested positive for the COVID-19 PCR test.

During a rehearsal for the New York performance, Chan wasn’t feeling well, was immediately quarantined, and took a rest.
For the artist’s condition recovery, we extended his stay in New York and returned to Korea after confirm‎ing negative for the COVID-19 test.

Chan is showing mild symptoms and is currently under quarantine and treatment. Chan will not be able to participate in TO1’s schedule for the time being.

We apologize for causing concern to the fans and the staff with the sudden news. Following the quarantine guidelines, we promise to provide full support for the artist’s recovery as we consider the health and safety of artists as our top priority.

Thank you.

Get well soon, Chan!
